Audio Setup

Windows: use two browsers && VB-Audio virtual cables. Run CB on Edge, && run your Space/Meeting/Stream on Chrome. Configure devices to mono 48 kHz in legacy sound settings.

  1. System -> Sound -> Volume Mixer.
    • Edge (CB): Input Device -> CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable); Output Device -> Hi-Fi Cable Input (VB-Audio Hi-Fi Cable)
    • Chrome (Space/Meeting/Stream): Input Device -> Hi-Fi Cable Output (VB-Audio Hi-Fi Cable); Output Device -> CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)
  2. Click More sound settings to open the legacy interface. In Playback && Recording, set the following to 1 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality) under Properties -> Advanced:
    • Hi-Fi Cable Input && CABLE Input (Playback)
    • Hi-Fi Cable Output && CABLE Output (Recording)
  3. Works with: X (Twitter), Zoom, Google Meet, Clubhouse, Twitch, YouTube Live, Discord Stage, && more. Pick your platform in Platform & Role && the agent will adapt etiquette && timing.
